Movies2iPhone : News http://www.movies2iPhone.com/ Movies2iPhone is a free program that will convert any video to a format compatible with your iPhone, iPod and iPad. en-us OKprods Ltd Wed, 16 Jan 2013 15:59:13 -0800 New Version!
I'm releasing today Movies2iPhone 2.14. It took me more time than expected but this new version is a significant upgrade.

Indeed, I have included the latest version of ffmpeg, which provides Movies2iPhone with an even wider range of compatible video formats and significant conversion speed improvements (30 to 400% depending on the video being converted)!
I was also reported compatibility problems for some MacOSX 10.7 (Lion) users. This should now be fixed.

Last but not least, let me use the occasion to wish you all the Very Best for 2013!

Movies2iPhone 1.28 ready for the New iPad
As Apple unveiled in its keynote yesterday (the 7th of March), the New iPad comes with a gorgeous Retina (HD) display. That's 2048-by-1536-pixel resolution, 264 pixels per inch (ppi)!

I'm thus releasing a new version of Movies2iPhone including a dedicated video conversion mode for the so called 'New iPad' (iPad 3 or iPad HD if you prefer).

Hope you enjoy! ;-)]]>

Movies2iPhone 1.26 is online!
It comes with few 'cosmetic' changes and 17 new languages.
I would like to address a BIG THANK YOU to all the contributors: thanks to you, Movies2iPhone is now available in 26 languages !

If you would like to translate Movies2iPhone in your own language or fix mistakes in existing translations simply use Movies2iPhone collaborative translation tool.

Unfortunately, I was not able to update Movies2iPhone for MacOSX.
Especially, many Mac users are requesting Lion's compatibility. I hear you guys, please please stop mailing about it: my MacBook is dead and I can't work on a new OSX version of Movies2iPhone until I get a hand on a new one. This will hopefully happen this late summer, thanks for your understanding.

I wish you all good conversions !

Movies2iPhone for Mac - Beta Test Mac OSX version of Movies2iPhone.

A pre-version is now ready and as I have very few experience with Mac OSX coding I would appreciate if some of you could test it and provide me feedbacks before I make it official.

If you would like to beta test Movies2iPhone for Mac OSX, simply download it here.

When you are done with testing thanks for letting me know as many details as possible:
. did the install process went fine
. does it work? partially work? or not at all?
. does it provides the 'Mac feeling' of a native app, or does it look more like a port from windows?
. please also include your system description and Os version (Leopard, Snow Leopard)

Basically, express yourself, all comments, ideas and critics are welcome.]]>

. Movies2iPhone is now compatible with Windows 7 (32 & 64 bits)
. there was few incompatibility issues with Vista; these should now be fixed
. the subtitles addition feature has been significantly simplified
. the quality and size of the converted video have been improved even more; the image quality becomes especially beautiful when an HD (720p or 1080i/p) movie is used as a source
